Dark blue crocodile embossed floor tiles were developed and manufactured in ALMA’s London factory, then installed between and adjacent to areas of marble flooring.

Over 100sqm of 300mm square ALMA Floor genuine leather floor tiles were installed within the pavilion and bar area by ALMA’s own installation team.

During the many years of hotel footfall wear and tear, the leather floor tiles have performed very well in this demanding commercial environment.

The services of the ALMA Floor aftercare team were employed periodically to keep the leather floor tiles looking their optimum best.

ALMA have completed various specialist leather interior projects within Maybourne Group hotels, including leather panels with decorative stitch detailing to the spectacular large round columns in London Mayfair’s Claridge’s Hotel reading room.

After more than 20 years of use, the Maybourne Group decided to renew The Berkeley Hotel Blue Bar flooring ready for their peak Christmas seasonal trading period.

Such was their confidence with ALMA leather flooring, the decision was made to replace with a brand new identical ALMA Floor leather flooring.

ALMA’s own in-house installation team coordinated with The Berkeley Hotel’s facilities team to minimise disruption by uplifting and replacing the leather flooring during night time working hours.

The ALMA sales team and directors often entertain clients in the Blue Bar to showcase our leather flooring in this iconic setting.
